Laramie County has had the most lab-confirmed cases in the last 7 days: 24ĬONFIRMED CASES BY AGE GROUP (all 3 years) LAB CONFIRMED CASES IN THE LAST 7 DAYS (to October 18, 2022) The 70 /80 age group had the fewest number of cases, but unfortunately, the most COVID-19 related deaths. The 19-29 age group had the most confirmed cases in Wyoming, but less than 1% of deaths. In summary, for 2022, Wyoming has had 286 deaths and Sublette County has had 3 COVID-19 related deaths. The Wyoming Department of Health only updates their website data weekly now, on Tuesdays, and they have dropped reporting some data. Smoke, flames, and glowing embers are often visible, and are a normal part of pile burning operations. Snow cover, fuel moisture, precipitation, wind, temperature, and available firefighter staffing are all taken into account before beginning a pile burn. Piles are only ignited when fire and fuels managers are confident that the project can be undertaken safely and successfully. This season’s pile burning could begin as early as next week (October 31, 2022) and continue through December, depending on weather, fuels conditions and access.
